4000 stays booked in 24 hours at Pairi Daiza: a new record.
Pairi Daiza Resort gets off to a flying start for the 2026 season on the day of a global internet outage.

Barely 24 hours after reservations opened for the 2026 season, from February 7, 2026 to January 2, 2027, the Pairi Daiza Resort has already recorded 3,976 bookings. This remarkable momentum illustrates the public’s interest in the immersive and high-quality experiences offered, since 2019, within the various worlds of Pairi Daiza.
"Our teams handled thousands of phone calls and emails to satisfy the many people who wanted to stay in the heart of the Park. Saturday and Sunday nights sold out the fastest, with a clear preference for the underwater rooms overlooking the walrus, penguin and polar bear pools."Pauline Boisdenghien, Operations Manager, Pairi Daiza Resort
In the exceptional context of November 18, marked by the worldwide outage that made the Pairi Daiza website — among many others — temporarily inaccessible, the Pairi Daiza Resort was nevertheless able to stay in contact with everyone wishing to book their stay. Thanks to a queue management system similar to those used for major concerts, the up to 40,000 connected users were able to keep their place in line. As soon as the outage was resolved, each of them was able to finalize their reservation without losing their turn. Pairi Daiza sincerely thanks all these people for their patience and their trust during this unprecedented moment.
European recognition and beyond.
This exceptional momentum comes at a time when, for the first time, Pairi Daiza has been awarded the title of "Best Holiday Park in Europe" by the German experts of Parkscout magazine.
This award recognises the quality of Pairi Daiza's infrastructure, its bold and compelling concepts and its constant care in welcoming visitors.
The accommodation with views of polar bears, walruses, penguins and Siberian tigers already won the "Best New Hotel Concept" title for Belgium and the Netherlands in 2022.
The leading travel guides and international awards — including the Michelin Green Guide and Tripadvisor® Travelers’ Choice® — emphasize that Pairi Daiza is a must do or bucket list destination: it is a living work of art, a transformative experience in service of life itself.
Each year, millions of visitors from around the world leave the Park with new insights, hearts full of beauty, and a renewed desire to protect life.
In the words of international journalists:
“Immersive accommodation – with just a glass wall between you and a creature of your choice – is one of many thrills at this award-winning ethical zoo.” The Guardian, Daniel Boffey, Jan 11, 2022.
“This unique resort offers spacious suites and lodges that overlook animals on all fours — or mammals bopping underwater. Each of the rooms has giant glass walls that give adventurous guests an insight into the lives of these creatures.” New York Post, May 22, 2025.
“The abbey church tower still stands at the heart of the Park, and several other historic buildings have been preserved, some as ruins.
The former monastery brewery is once again producing beer, and the old farm buildings now serve as modern, rustic accommodations.” Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung, Laura Geyer, October 18, 2025.

Welcoming visitors from around the world from day one
The international dimension of Pairi Daiza's appeal is illustrated by the origin of the people who booked on the first day.
Of the 4,000 stays already confirmed, 52% come from people living in Belgium, 19.5% come from the Netherlands, 14% from France, and 5% from Germany. The remaining bookings come from visitors residing in Great Britain, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Switzerland, China, or Canada.
Three worlds open to residents 24 hours a day
Since 2019, Pairi Daiza has offered one of the most original and comfortable hotel packages in Europe: a stay that immerses visitors in the heart of the animal world. Since then, two indicators have remained remarkably stable.
On the one hand, the Pairi Daiza Resort has an occupancy rate of almost 95%. On the other hand, resident satisfaction is over 90%.
This consistency reflects both the public's growing interest in high-quality, immersive experiences and their continued confidence in the Resort's offerings.
During their stay, which always includes half-board, residents have the opportunity to discover nature and animals at night and from early morning. This is the case in:
The Last Frontier

A spectacular evocation of British Columbia, featuring:
- The Paddling Bear rooms and suites, overlooking the Steller sea lions ;
- The Native Houses, inspired by the traditional architecture of salmon-fishing peoples, with terraces overlooking black bears and deer;
- Full Moon Lodges, unique in direct contact with brown bears and wolves.
The Land of the Cold

A world inspired by the Vikings and the Inuits, where accommodation offers privileged views of the territory of white bears, Siberian tigers, walruses and penguins. These unique personal encounters, day and night, reflect the park's unique approach: bringing people and nature closer together while ensuring the welfare of the animals.
Cambron-Abbey

The historic abbey grounds are home to 21 immersive accommodations in the Abbey Farmhouse, renovated in 2024, offering a gentle and educational stay. Goats, sheep, wallabies, maras, chickens, pigs and rabbits accompany visitors in a soothing environment.
The Pairi Daiza Experience is carried all the way through to these unique overnight facilities: instilling a love of nature through a premium hotel concept that showcases how beautiful, wild animals and farm animals live 24/7.
2026 is shaping up to be very promising
This dynamic brings a very promising outlook for 2026 for Pairi Daiza and for the guests who can already look forward to a unique holiday in 2026. For those who wish to experience a specific date or accommodation, we recommend not hesitating. Availability is limited, and at the moment there is no digital queue.
