Discover the Tulipa Pairi Daiza, experience spring joy during Floral Dreams.

Floral Dreams: Spring from 18 March to mid-May, from 21 March the Easter Egg Festival also starts.

[Date] The Tulipa Pairi Daiza was officially presented on 18 March. The tulip’s official christening marked the beginning of Floral Dreams, Pairi Daiza’s spring festival.

The festival 'Floral Dreams: Spring' runs until mid-May and invites visitors to admire the succession of spring blooms throughout this season: from crocuses and daffodils in February, over magnolias from March, cherry blossoms in April and then tulips and camellias. The gardeners also laid out a whole new outdoor garden leading visitors to Edenya.

In 2026, the Tulipa Pairi Daiza will be exclusively on display and for sale at Pairi Daiza

The new tulip, the Tulipa Pairi Daiza, is the star of this year's flower festival. This creation was created in close cooperation with JUB Holland. This variety is distinguished by its warm golden yellow hue, its refined elegance and its vitality. It is a simple flower, yet richly filled.

“Each flower receives a name. This name becomes a responsibility. Its yellow is that of the returning sun. Each spring, the Pairi Daiza tulip will embody what we aspire to be: a garden where the beauty of the world remains alive and accessible to all.” Eric Domb, Chairman-Founder of Pairi Daiza

3,000 bulbs of this tulip were planted exclusively at Pairi Daiza, including around L'Oeuf du Monde. In autumn 2026, bulbs of the Tulipa Pairi Daiza will be available in Pairi Daiza's boutiques, where the Pairi Daiza Rose is already being sold.

There are 200 tulip varieties on display at Pairi Daiza, a wide palette ranging from botanical tulips to more recent hybrid forms.

Floral Dreams: The flower festival, featuring blooming Easter flowers, tulips, magnolias and cherry trees, transforming the Park into a living work of art.

Pairi Daiza's 15 gardeners are true artists and caretakers of a unique botanical heritage with more than 2,000 trees, shrubs and plants. From the 350-year-old candelabra plane trees to the recently developed Tulipa Pairi Daiza.

With extreme care, they match plants and colours and select species that bloom simultaneously or successive, in natural and visually harmonious compositions. Instead of planting bulbs in traditionally uniform blocks, mixed arrangements extend the flowering period to evoke breathtaking landscapes inspired by wildflower meadows and mountain landscapes. Throughout spring, different spring bloomers interchange.

- Magnolias: March - May

- Roses and planters announce summer: from May onwards

- Edenya: 1,800 tropical plant varieties

From the moment you walk through the Edenya gate with its emblematic tower bell, you will discover a completely newly landscaped garden that already wants to give visitors the feeling of walking in a tropical garden in terms of vegetation throughout the year. The planting was carefully composed to create a tropical feel with species that can handle our climate. Quercus myrsinifolia, the bamboo-leaved oak, plays a key role in this: its graceful, bamboo-like leaf structure and evergreen character create an exotic feel all year round.

Edenya, the Living Sanctuary, protects 1,800 plant species, including true treasures: sea coconut palms, found only in the wild in Seychelles. Their presence here is a true miracle; they originate from the Nong Nooch Botanical Garden, and their colossal, sensuous fruits symbolise the birth of life.

A unique Ficus religiosa is one of the direct descendants of the tree under which Siddhartha Gautama, more than two thousand years ago in Bodh Gaya (India), attained enlightenment and thus became Buddha.

Proceedings are ongoing with Guiness World Records Edenya for recognition as 'Most Variety of Plant Species Cultivated in a Tropical Greenhouse'.

"The park beautifully shows how flower bulbs bring the landscape to life in early spring. They are the first colour accents of the season as well as a valuable food source for pollinators. At the same time, they really draw visitors into spring and set the tone for everything that follows. It is inspiring to see how the garden team works here with so much knowledge and sense of composition. The fact that together we were allowed to select a new variety that bears the Pairi Daiza name makes this collaboration extra special for us." Robbert Uittenbogaard, JUB Holland
