Summer Festival 'Les Estivales' Begins July 11 at Pairi Daiza.
Six weekends, 18 stages full of love for animals, people, and culture, turning summer nights into a wonderful experience.

Since 2016, Pairi Daiza has been organizing a summer festival inspired by Belgium's rich festival culture, all in harmony with the animals and the park environnement.
Festival Program and Late Night Openings
This summer, the Park opens daily at 10:00 AM for day visitors. During six Fridays and Saturdays, as well as July 20 and 21 and August 14, Pairi Daiza offers evening-long artistic shows from 6:00 PM and continuing until 11:00 PM. This adds up to over 60 hours of performances by musicians, singers, dancers, clowns, magicians, puppetry, meditation and circus artists at Belgium's premium tourist attraction.
"Artists, like animals, trees and gardens, or minerals, are wonders of the world. Through their gestures, their voices, their images, they lead to the same prayer: to exist, to move, to pass something on. And sometimes, from that emotion, a desire is born: wishing to protect life, beauty which cannot be replaced." Éric Domb, President-Founder of Pairi Daiza
Circus Arts and Global Cultures
With deep respect for the arts, spirituality, and crafts of various regions and civilizations, Pairi Daiza re-creates nine worlds. The combination of authentic buildings—sometimes rebuilt stone by stone or part by part—flora and fauna, and artistic intervention welcome visitors to wander, wonder and travel, allowing them to experience China, Southeast Asia, Benin, Togo, Antarctica, Australia, Northern Europe, Canada, or Japan close to home.
Many spiritual buildings in the Park are truly consecrated by their respective religious communities. The Balinese Temple is the most striking example. Wayan Sudiarta, musical leader and head of the Balinese Hindu association and the traditional music group Saling Asah, explains:
"The grand Balinese temple was built in close collaboration with Pairi Daiza and the Balinese community. It is the largest consecrated prayer space of its kind outside Indonesia. That is why our members attend several times a year for traditional festivals, and also to take part in the evening cultural program of Pairi Daiza. In 2025, Tumpek Kandang falls on Saturday, July 12, a Balinese Hindu holiday celebrated every 210 days according to the Pawukon calendar. The ceremony is dedicated to Sang Hyang Rare Angon, the god of livestock and pets, and is meant to express gratitude for the role of animals in the daily lives of Balinese people."Wayan Sudiarta, head of the Balinese Hindu association and the group Saling Asah.

6 weekends
Each weekend of Les Estivales, stilt walkers will be present, bringing to life a newly created puppet of a golden snub-nosed monkey—the rare monkeys that arrived from China at Pairi Daiza on May 14.
In the Chinese Garden, visitors can enjoy the Lion Dance and other traditional performances. Meanwhile, the Japanese Islands of the Rising Sun will feature traditional martial arts and music, for the first weekend .
The cultural journey around the world continues during the opening festival weekend with:
